- 3M Double Sided Adhesive Tape
Important Notes:
- Easy to install in less than 30 minutes
- Clean and dry the hood before installation
- Degrease the contact area of the 3M tape with alcohol wipe or brake cleaner
- Test fit before removing the 3M backing tape and mark the position with masking tape dots
- Remove the 3M backing tape, re-apply and press down firmly
- Rub the outer edges to ensure good, firm adhesion
- If the outside ambient temperature is below 15 degrees, gently warm the hood and vent with a hair dryer or heat gun before installation for improved adhesion
